Flat zipper pouch.
An exciting new format for smaller sample quantities
of coffee and samples is the flat pouch. It is flat,
usually square, and not gusseted. This can be made in
clear PET/LLDPE, white or printed PET/LLDPE or in
PET/AL/LLDPE ?and can be printed in up to 8 colors.
Our standard thickness is 130Um, but it can be made in
a thinner laminate on request. Flat zipper pouches are
great for samples, portion-size bags, and for special
promotions.

The
standard foil gusseted bag
is the most popular format for packing specialty
coffee. It's made in either PET/AL/LLDPE, or if a
clear bag
is desired, in PET/LLDPE. The gussets are at the sides
of the bag,
and all types of gusseted bags are available with
freshness valve. It can be custom printed in up to 8
colors. The thickness of the laminate can vary from
70Um to 135Um. Gusseted bags are available as: Center
seal gusseted bags, Side
seal gusseted bags, Concealed
seal gusseted bag,
and a Gusseted
bag with
zipper. The quad bag
is also a variety of the gusseted bag.

gusseted bag
with zipper is a quad bag
where a zipper has been inserted at the top of the bag.
The side gussets are glued together around the zipper,
making airtight resealing of the bag
simple for the customer. The bags are filled and
sealed at the bottom, so the small zipper opening does
not make filling them hard.
